India against Corruption!

Since 26th January 1951, India has grown a lot and marked its strong impact on the whole world. But what surprises me is the fact that, in our constitution, there is not even a single law to fight against corruption in this country.
We have seen numerous cases of corruption, both, on national level and on state level. The CWG scam, Adarsh society scam, Telgi scam, Satyam Scam, State bank scam, Fodder scam (Chara Ghotala) and the biggest scam ever-2G Scam.

The saddest part is that we Indians are used to corruption. We just don’t want to do anything about it.  But if we really want to save our country from this evil, we will have to do something because the line has been crossed. It’s now or never.

72 year old social activist Anna Hazare can do it, so why can’t we? Support Anna, because he needs it and most importantly we need it, India need it.

As an Indian, I strongly demand for Jan Lokpal Bill asap, do you?

  6. The youth, feels the pangs of a suffering nation. Thousands of Facebook status and hundreds of blogs depict the mood, the spark of doing something. I just feel we need to raise the stakes. May be, give up that comfort corner and for sometime, forget the personal benefits.
    Its about time.

  9. Sanjana,

First visit. Read current posts. It is really a pity that we in Delhi are becoming so insensitive and are so vocal about it if something happens to us or someone near & dear. Aruna has right to live if her friends support her. Delhi has so much of rich heritage but KHAAP PANCHAYTS negate all. It is we who have to fight corruption as each individual must vow not to give a green note to policewala to avoid CHALLAN at traffic light or while not wearing seat belt or helmet, not to offer CHAI PAANI to that Babu to get our file pushed. If we unite in this, I think we can win against this evil. That will set trend which will scare the bigger fish too.

    Take care

  10. We are the students, the youth and onto our shoulder rest the future of India. Corruption stands in between the development and advancement of our country which ultimately jeopardizes, endangers and halts our own growth.
